Curriculum Publication Deadline

New curriculum proposals and curriculum changes required to go to Graduate/Undergraduate Council or only Graduate/Undergraduate Council must be submitted by the April Graduate/Undergraduate Council meetings for inclusion in the bulletins for the upcoming academic year. ÌýDeans are responsible for sharing new program proposal information at Dean's Council prior to the formal program approval process.Ìý

Significant Dates for Bulletin Submission:

  • Program Proposals:Ìý

    • All materials new and existing program proposals requiring Graduate or Undergraduate Council approval must be submitted by 5 pm, Friday, March 19, 2027Ìý for the 2027-2028 academic year.

      Note: Colleges and schools may have internal deadlines ahead of the Council deadline (likely one to two week earlier). Please consult with your dean’s office and plan accordingly.

  • Course Proposals: Course changes should be entered by Friday, April 30th, 2027 to ensure inclusion in the 2027-2028 Graduate and Undergraduate Bulletins

  • Deans' Council Meeting Dates

    Deans' Council meetings typically occur on the third Thursday of every month, at 10:00 – 11:30 am. Agenda items must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the meeting by the deadlines listed below. Please mail Mandy.Grosh@du.edu to submit items for the agenda.

    Graduate Council meets the first Wednesday of the month from September through June from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Email AcademicAffairs@du.edu from details.Ìý

    All proposals are due on Friday two weeks prior to Council meeting dates; agendas will be made available at least one business day after the deadline.

    • All proposals received after the deadline will be placed on the agenda for the following month’s meeting

    • All proposals requiring Council review (voting; non-voting) must go through the required prior approval process
