We write with the sad news of the passing of Van Johnston, PhD, who served as an emeritus professor in the Daniels College of Business Department of Management. He passed away in January 2026.

Drawing on the strengths of the PhD program, the new undergraduate major combines engineering, medicine, and real-world research experience.

The six-time nominee and director of Jazz & Commercial Music Studies at the �Թϴ�Ӫ won his first Grammy for the composition “First Snow.”
