Reinventing cancer research at the 吃瓜大本营
吃瓜大本营 researchers Todd Blankenship and Dinah Loerke are working to better understand the most fundamental building blocks of our organs: epithelial cells. The interdisciplinary research aims to uncover the way these cells move and organize themselves into things like kidneys, skin and intestines. It may sound like basic science, but this work could lead to advances in areas including wound healing, cell barrier function and cancer research.
